This time I feel that pulse audio remains in the Vbox and I have such an audio latency. Perhaps the pulse audio was always there but somehow not into the VBox.

I also have to report that I had not remove or abolish pulse audio in the past. I said "unreasonable" latency because I have done all this work again in the past with my previous Linux OS (exactly the same hardware and VBox 0.24) and I had not this specific problem, using the Alsa sound driver in the VBox. There is such a delay, I have the feeling that I forgot pulse audio doing the work. The problem I notice is an unreasonable sound delay although I have chosen the Alsa sound driver with the VBox settings. I installed the win xp os, some music applications and an appropriate asio driver. So I used the VBOX manager, I updated the oracle application, I installed guest additions. I used to make music with windows xp, cubase - vst synths etc. PC Linux KDE 64 bit OS seems to me a really STRONG distro, very carefully organized in order to be a durable rolling one !!!! In the Create Virtual Machine window, click the Expert Mode button at the bottom. Once installed, open VirtualBox and click the New button to begin creating a new virtual machine.

First, you’ll need to download and install VirtualBox.

These last 3-4 days I tried a lot to "knock it down" doing various "experiments". After you’ve extracted your Windows XP download files, you’re ready to begin setting it up as a virtual machine. I trust it and thank you so much for this achievement !!! I am really impressed with your OS, I have just installed. I used to work with Linux distros for 8-9 years but only as a user. let me make a small introduction.įorgive me, because my English are not so good. Hello everybody ! Iam a newbie here, it is my first post, so.
